Golf is a wonderful game but difficult to learn from a book, a televised instruction program or worse yet, your spouse.

Whether you are a beginner or a more accomplished player, the best way to reach your individual goals is with the help of a qualified and experienced professional. Because teaching is both a skill and an art, the ability to provide effective instruction varies among golf professionals.

My father owned and operated a golf course for over fifty years. I literally grew up on that golf course. It was this environment that nurtured the development of eight P.G.A. teaching professionals within my family. At a very young age I had already begun to understand the basics of a good golf swing and how to play golf with relaxation and proper mental focus. After winning the Women's Amateur Championship in my home state, I turned professional and played in dozens of tournaments over the next ten years, including two U.S. Women's Open Championships. These experiences are foundational to the effectiveness of my teaching skills.

In twenty years of providing golf instruction, I have determined the most common reason golfers struggle to reach their true potential is because they are confused in their understanding of cause and effect in the golf swing. My teaching philosophies are simply communicated and easily understood. This approach has proven to be highly effective in helping people play better golf.

During your lesson we will discuss your goals and objectives. I will keep things simple and draw parallels between golf and other sports and experiences that you will find eye-opening.
